| The Truman Run is a Knights of Columbus event and will be a benefit for Nativity of Mary School in Independence. For more information about the Truman Run please go to their web site: http://www.trumanrun.org
Sunshine Center has sponsored a new 5K race named the Run to the Sun. Our new run will be in its third year in 2009 and is held in the Space Center underground facility in Independence, Missouri. All proceeds from this event go to support the early childhood programs for underprivileged children and children with disabilities at our two Independence, MO., locations.
