MARA Grand Prix Event

Come BEAT the HEAT and run underground.

Race Date: Sunday, July 20, 2008 - promptly at 9:00a.m.

The 2008 Run to the Sun is the summer version of another famous Kansas City underground run and was designed to help you BEAT the HEAT. The course winds through the Space Center caves and is extremely wide, flat, fast and clean. The course begins just inside the entrance to the cave and quickly takes you deep into the underground facility where the temperature is always a pleasant 70 degrees in the summer. The very flat course with two long straight-a-ways will make the Run to the Sun one of the fastest in the area. Join us on Sunday, July 20th and be the first to set the course record or a new personal best.
